The Final Post

Hello.

Today let me write about my ambitions after graduate this semester.

I'm going to study hard to become a diplomat.  I'll study not only English but also various laws.  It may hard for me but I'll do my best and I believe that I can do it.  If I become a diplomat, I want to work in Calgary because the people live in Calgary are kind and Calgary is the place of memories for me because I could meet you.

Finally, now I’m feeling strong gratitude toward my family, my friends and my teachers because they were very supportive of my studying abroad and I’ll never forget it.  Of course, I’ll never forget my days in Canada too.

Eco-tourism

Hello.

I searched "Eco-tourism" because I didn't know it in detail.  Also, I found the definition.  That is " responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people."

Eco-tourism is effective in natural conservation, to link social problem with people and to interpret environment.  Therefore, I think that Eco-tourism is more important than tourism.

On the other hand, I also think that sometimes Eco-tourism is less important than tourism.  In my opinion, sometimes Eco-tourism is inconvenience because we can't use car, airplane etc.

Tourism

Hello~Hello~

I searched the "tourism"s definition.

Dictionary defines "the business activity connected with providing accommodation, services and entertainment for people who are visiting palace for pleasure".  On the other hand, the World Tourism Organization defines tourist as people"traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes.

The most visited countries by international tourist arrivals is France. The next is USA.  However, I've never been to there.

Anyway, I'm really excited now because I'm interested in this topic!!!

Gender Roles

Hi guys.

1. Define gender role

A gender role is a social and behavioral norms that are generally considered appropriate for a man or a woman in a social or interpersonal relationship.


2. Do gender role exist in your country?

In my opinion, gender role exist in Japan.  These are often considered that man should be strong and woman should be dainty.


3. Do you see yourself as a typical man?

I have never thought so because I don't know how is a typical man.


4. What are the responsible of a father?

In the past, the responsible of a father is considered that they should work hard for their family and should protect their family at the price of their life.  However, this idea has been gradually changing to other things.


5. What are the responsible of a mother?

In the past, the responsible of a mother is considered that they should keep up with the housework for their family.  However, this idea has been gradually changing to other things.

Halloween!!!!!!!!!

Hi!!  How are you everyone?

Today let me write about Halloween.  Last Fridey I had a great time for Halloween party.  I was disguised as Woody of Toy Story because I love Toy Story and I took a lot of pictures with my friends and activity instructors.  That made me feel happy, exicited.  In additionm, I ate delicious foods, drank beer.  Moreover, I danced with my friends.  So, I had a special time for Halloween party.

By the way, there is Halloween party too in Japan.  However, Japanese of them is just eating confectionery. Therefore, I never experienced that before.

My Hobby!!!!!!

Hi.  Today let me write about my hobby.

I have played baseball for 16 years.  When I was three years old, my grandfather bought me a baseball glove.  From then on, I played catch with him every Sunday.  It made me feel happy and hooked on.  Eventually, the childfood experience caused me to belong to a baseball club.  I practiced hard and did physical training every weekend.  When you see such an enthusiastic boy about  concentrating on baseball only, you would say "Don't you want to play with your friends on weekend?" .  If I were in your place, I would have the same opinion. But playing baseball is not only my interest but also the most important bondage with my grandfather.  So, I didn't think that I wanna escape to joy that is to play with my friends.

Hi. How are you?

I think the the person who was arrested for pretending to have cancer needed money or wanted to live without difficulty.  To be sure, living with comfort is important but I don't think that I wanna get money by break a law.  He should have noticed if someone do bad things, the person is usually arrested.

By the way, when my friend bought a bag by mail order sales, she was deceived by long firm.  Although she paid for the price of item into the company's account, she couldn't get item she ordered.

I hope everyone is in ESL don't get tricked by a con man.

Tobacco & Alcohol Advertising

Hi guys.

Today let me write about Japanese laws that forbid advertising campaigns for tobacco and alcohol. I have never seen commercial for tobacco on TV.  But I have seen commercial for alcohol. So, I think that Japanese government regulate it, because it is harmful and unhealthy things. Moreover, we can see advertising regulate smoking at a station, a school and a restaurant… I think tobacco's regulation is more rigid than alcohol's regulation, because tobacco is more dangerous  than alcohol. And I agree this common opinion.

Today let me introduce myself.

I'm 19 years old. So, my catch-phrase is Young Yu!!!!!!! Now I'm really excited to glad to be in the class RW3D. My favorite things are playing sports, Eating food, and Children. The most favorite sport is baseball, because baseball is the most important memories with my grandfather. Please let me talk about the story when you have a chance next time.
